MAKING A GIFT

It is easier than ever to make a gift to ChildNet as we now accept gifts by credit card through PayPal, a secure online service. Donate online today.

A gift of cash or securities to ChildNet is of immediate benefit to ChildNet Youth and Family Services and is the most direct way to give. A cash gift allows ChildNet to use the funds immediately and it entitles you to claim a charitable income tax deduction.

Checks should be made payable to ChildNet Youth and Family Services and sent to:

  • Increase the Size of Your Gift through a Matching Gift Program
  • You may be eligible for Matching Gift programs through your employers or with an organization you are associated with. You may be able to double or sometimes triple your charitable gifts. If this is a program available to you, please ask for your company's matching gift forms, or contact us and we will make the appropriate inquiries on your behalf.

  • Minimize Your Tax Burden
  • Gifts of Appreciated Securities offer special tax benefits including elimination of capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of stock gifts. Call or write the ChildNet development office today for more information.

Fundraising and Volunteer Support are two important ways you can make a difference for the thousands of troubled kids and families served by ChildNet each year. Without private contributions, both large and small, ChildNet will not have the resources to continue offering the quality programs available today. ChildNet has a tradition of volunteer and community participation beginning with its founders, civic leaders who dedicated themselves to make a difference.

ChildNet seeks revenue support to cover operating expenses and provide for the needs of its four principal service programs:

In order to achieve our goals, we offer several fundraising opportunities:

    Gift and Estate Planning

For many donors, an outright gift is not the best means of achieving their philanthropic or estate planning goals. Carefully planned gifts can offer significant estate tax and income benefits, while at the same time allowing donors to make larger gifts to an organization than would otherwise be possible.

In addition, tax-wise gifts to ChildNet may provide you with income for life. For example, a Gift Annuity that is paid with cash or appreciated securities can provide income for one or two people, as well as provide several tax benefits such as a current income-tax deduction.
